This is a CAL project. I just love this. It makes me feel like a part of the big wonderful world of those that love to crochet. I am finding this after the CAL started but none the less I do plan to make this beautiful square.

Love, love the colors of this granny square pattern. From a circle to a square and after completing 13 rounds this prince protea crochet granny square will be complete. There are several color changes and a lot of techniques used but there are a lot of photos and hints thru the directions. I just have to try this.

This is pretty advanced, but I like a challenge. If you like the other granny squares shown in the picture behind this one, they are also available on the blog. You go to the bottom of this pattern (the Prince protea) page and there is a gray button that says Previous Squares. You can see a whole range of other squares patterns you can mix and match with this one.
