This crochet square pattern features a beautiful pinwheel in the center, which represents the expression "stars in your eyes." Stars in His Eyes Square incorporates this theme to represent both the emotion we feel when we love someone as well as God's love for us. The pinwheel stitch is a tricky technique to learn, but it will be worth it once you have created this beautiful prayer reminder or devotional square. The blue and purple colors contribute to the star-struck feeling of this free crochet pattern, and it will surely inspire you to think about who makes you feel as out-of-this-world as this square.

This square design is very appropriate for a Christmas design afghan or baby blanket. The star in the center can be colored red and the rest can be green, white, blue, depending on the crocheter's choice. I'm excited about this square design. Many possibilities!
