Materials List

  • Bernat Blanket (10.5 oz/300 g; 258 yds/234 m):
    Main Color (MC) Dark Grey (10044) 2 balls
    Contrast A Pumpkin Spice (10630) 2 balls
  • Size U.S. N/15 (10 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

Do not break yarn at end of 2nd row. Carry yarn up side of work.

Blanket

With MC, ch 96. 1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. *Ch 1. Skip next ch. 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * to end of chain. Turn. 95 sts. 2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *1 sc in next ch-1 sp. Ch 1. Skip next sc. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 sc in next ch-1 sp. 1 sc in last sc. Join A. Turn. 3rd row: With A, ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *Ch 1. Skip next sc. 1 sc in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last 2 sc. Ch 1. Skip next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn. Rep last 2 rows for pat, working 2 rows each of MC and A until work from beg measures approx 50 [127 cm], ending with 2 rows of MC. Fasten off.

Side Edging

With RS facing, join MC with sl st to bottom right corner. Ch 1. Work 1 row of sc evenly up side of blanket. Fasten off. Rep for other side.
