The 60s Mod Throw

The mod sixties scene is still going strong in the world of vintage crochet. The 60s Mod Throw has all of the whimsy and bold classic style that was ever present in that decade. A checkerboard pattern is a great option if you're looking for quick and easy crochet patterns. It uses only a few basic crochet stitches, including the treble crochet stitch. With juicy, bright colors, this is one of the best free crochet blanket patterns to brighten up your home.

I have not seen an afghan done in sugar and creme cotton yarn. At least the cost will be reasonable. I live in the south so a throw like this is great in the warmer months. The directions are good and it will crochet up fast. Thank you for the pattern.

Love love love sugar and cream cotton yarn. Also love retro items that are from the 60s, 70s, and 80s time period. I like that this throw is used with basic crochet stitches which will make it work up so much more quickly. The color choices made by the designer are awesome and so typical of that time frame.
