I am making one for my mom, for her first year of marriage to my dad, in the 3 difference places she lived. When I told her what I was doing, she was so appreciative, and gave me more information freely, so it would be that much more special. It is going to be long enough to fit on her bed. But it is made with love, so that makes it worth it.

I've been wanting to make this for a while now! I live in the north where it's chilly or cold 9 months out of the year, so I'd definitely have to break each color down by 5 or 10 degrees F. I'd probably also just do the average weekly temperature for each row, as I'd imagine 365 rows would make a pretty huge blanket!

If you want a blanket for a bed, a whole year is perfect. But if you want an afghan, either do average weekly temperatures or make it for three months.

What an amazing idea! I can't imagine anyone not falling love with this type of gift.
