Winter Star Square

Let the evening sky be filled with Winter Star Squares. This crochet granny square is fun to make and the pattern is easy to follow. Make the crochet star pattern either blue or white for two variations of this snowy design. This granny square pattern is great for Christmas crochet blankets, but it would be great all winter long. There's no better time for wam, cozy afghans than during those colder months.

Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook

I like the white on white very much, a very effective use of only one colour.

Same as the others - the white on white star, for the same reason. I think the star shows up better.

I like the white star because you can see it better. I agree.....maybe white star on blue background would look good also.

White one for me! And white on a blue background might look cool, too ...

love the white one

white for me please

I like the all white one because I think the star shows up better. But that's not to say I wouldn't like to make one with a white star and colored background :)
