From the blogger: "When you need a warm blanket in a hurry, you want the Crochet Austin Cables Throw! This throw was fast, fun, and couldn’t be cozier. If you haven’t worked with crochet cables before, do not fret — this is a great pattern to start with! Row 2 sets up the pattern and uses simple stitches to get the cables started. From there, the cable stitches are only made on the even-numbered rows, and only into the post stitches that are two rows below. Once you get going, it’s easy as can be — heck, I found that it was hard to stop!"

Wow, this is a gorgeous pattern. I love the raised pattern.

I bought 2 balls of this thick bulky yarn with the thought I'd find a great pattern for the yarn and I have now found the perfect pattern to use up this thick soft yarn. After reading the pattern for this Crochet Austin Cables Throw I can't wait to get started. The written pattern is well done and easy to follow, I was happy to see a print tab on her page. I love doing the cables to make my crocheted items looks so unique and store bought. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet cables throw pattern.
