Midnight Sunset Crochet Baby Blanket

"Pair panels of granny stitches with Jacob’s ladder stitches and work up the Midnight Sunset Crochet Baby Blanket! This two-row repeat is easier than it looks and totally memorizable! I absolutely love the Jacob’s ladder stitch and used it in one of my favorite designs, the Jacob’s Colorful Cables Baby Blanket. I thought that awesome, textural stitch would look so cool alongside sections of the classic granny stitch, and I’m very pleased with the results! I used merino wool yarn for the first time, and the blanket is so soft and so warm! I paired a deep purple with a bright orange, plus a variegated that magically featured both those tones, for a vivid palette. It could even work for a Halloween baby with all that orange and purple! The pattern is finished with one of my all-time favorite borders, the camel stitch border. So super cozy! I hope you enjoy this pattern!"
