Materials List

  • (2) Balls Bernat Baby Blanket Brights (Shown in Busy Blue) About 420 yards total of super bulky/size 6 yarn if you want to sub another yarn.
  • (1) Heart shaped button (If this is for a small child, ELIMINATE this or remove before the child uses the item for safety purposes)
  • Basic tool kit (scissors, tapestry needle, measuring tape)
  • About 2 yards ribbon for the bow
  • A length of coordinating yarn to tie the bunny into position ( I could not use the blanket yarn for this, it breaks too easily. I used regular worsted weight yarn for the tie)
  • Some elastic or rubberband to secure the neck to make it easier to rework into a bunny over and over.

Oh How nice. What a great idea. Blanket that can be shaped into a bunny and back to blanket and bunny again. The color used is so appropriate for a baby boy. This is so practical.

I just made this for my friend's baby shower and it was literally the hit of the party. Amazing how something so quick and easy can make such a splash! Now all my friends want one for their kids!

I have not done this for a blanket before but have done it for wash cloths. This Easy Bunny Snuggly Crochet Blanket is so easy to whip up and turn it into a bunny is so cute and a great gift idea.. I think it would be a good idea to print out the folding and making the bunny so the owner can remake the bunny for great storage. So nice and it can be made bigger and given to a collage student. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet blanket pattern.

This is a great blanket to make for a baby shower or a gift for a small child. So much fun to crochet and then make into a bunny. I want one! The instructions are straight forward. It may take some practice to shape it into a bunny but really not hard. Thank you.
