Spice things up with a new crochet blanket pattern. This lovely Peacock Afghan throw is made with beautiful, cool colors that call to mind the impressive tail feathers of a peacock. There are few easy crochet afghan patterns that are as pretty as this. The double crochet stitch is the main technique used to make this beautiful crochet afghan, so this pattern is very beginner friendly. The fluffy tassels on the end add a touch of whimsical style that everyone will appreciate. It's hard to resist anything that's mimicking a stunning peacock.

I like the written pattern for this afghan, but the description for this afghan does not fit the pattern name. I'm disappointed that there are not all the colors and shape that you would see in a Peacock tail. I fell the name really needs to be changed to something that fits the look for this beautiful blue afghan. This is a two step pattern that has you making the base then you are weaving in a chain. I can see doing the pillow, but the afghan would take some time. I am going to try the pillow and see how it turns out, for I have never done this technique before so I'm interested.. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I was expecting a peacock design but I was kind of disappointed to see a plain blue afghan. Well, that's okay. Redeeming factor for this is the kind of blue hue used in this afghan. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.freevintagecrochet.com/afghans/peacock-a == fghan-pattern.html

I really - really - really would like to be able to enlarge your pictures to show detail. I'm sure it is pretty - but I can't appreciate it at all. Same with a lot of your pics that I can't appreciate the detail. I feel like I'm missing out.
