Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), work 11 dc in ring, slip st in top of beginning ch. (12 sts)
Rnd 2: Ch 3, [slip st in front loop of next dc, ch 3] around, slip st in back loop in top of beginning ch of Round 1. (12 loops)
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in same space on Round 1, 3 dc in back loop of next dc on Round 1, ch 3, skip next st, *[3 dc in back loop of next dc] twice, ch 3, skip next st; repeat from * around, slip st in top of beginning ch. (4 ch-3 spaces)
Rnd 4: Slip st in next dc, ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, skip next dc, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in ch-3 space, *skip next dc, dc in next 4 dc, skip next dc, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in ch-3 space; repeat from * around; slip st in back loop of beginning ch.
