I love the look of this afghan. I would suggest adding a 3rd color square, in between the white and dark blue colors. When I originally saw the picture it looked like there was a light blue color in some places. The pattern is really simple to read, and Im guessing you could whip this up fairly quickly if you are in need of a quick gift.

I like he size of the squares and the color combination of this Country Check Crochet Quilt. The navy blue/off-white combination is so elegant. This is perfect as a house warming or an anniversary gift. Thanks for this free pattern.
