  1. 1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. *Ch 1. Skip next ch. 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * to end of chain. Turn. 33 sts

  2. 2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *1 sc in next ch-1 sp. Ch 1. Skip next sc. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 sc in next ch-1 sp. 1 sc in last sc. Turn.

  3. 3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *Ch  1. Skip next sc. 1 sc in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last 2 sts. Ch 1. Skip next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn. Rep last 2 rows for pat. Work a further 13 rows in pat. Break A. Join D. **With D, work 16 rows in pat. Break D. Join A. With A, work 16 rows in pat. Break A. Join D.** Rep from ** to ** 4 times more (11 stripes are complete). Fasten off.

Finishing

Join Panels tog as follows: Side Panel, Narrow Panel, Center Panel, Narrow Panel, Side Panel, taking care to match stripe/color changes.

  1. Edging: 1st rnd: (RS). Join A with sl st in any corner of Blanket. Ch 1. Work sc evenly around outer edge of Blanket, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc.

  2. 2nd rnd: Ch 1. Working from left to right, instead of from right to left as usual, work 1 reverse sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off
