Vintage Narrow Steps Stitch Afghan

This rustic and simple crochet pattern has a southwestern vibe to it. With the repeating "arrow" type pattern, this beautifully-colored blanket will look beautiful in any room of the house. The colors can be altered to create an almost entirely different style.

You will want to make this free crochet pattern over and over with different hues. An ombre look in this style would look marvelous. Though the pattern is considered intermediate, once you get the hang of it, the repetitive piece works up easily.

From the Blogger: "Use a Size H crochet hook to complete this cool and simple crochet pattern. This Apache Tears Afghan is versatile and fun."

Wonder why they gave this design Apache Tears. It's beautiful, though. I like the pink and blue combination. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.citiusa.com/free-patterns-1/.
