The end of summer can seem depressing, even if you love fall weather. The Summer's End Glow Crochet Blanket will give you all the brightness of summer with the warmth that you will need for fall and winter. There's a glow between summer and fall, that perfect crispness to the air without it being too cool to be outside and that's what the bright colors of this crochet afghan captures. The assortment of shell, picot, and v stitches give it a lightness in texture, but the worsted weight yarn will keep you cozy.

This Summer's End Glow Crochet Blanket is perfect for the transition from summer to fall. I can imagine doing this for a daughter who is away in college and staying in the dormitory. This is one perfect blanket for a daughter who should have the best linen and beddings in her dorm room for her roommates and friends to admire. Thanks for this free pattern.
