Is there a mistake at the end of round 4? Shouldn't it end with chain 12 and slip stitch? The directions say to do another 2dcs in the next 2 stitches. Please respond.

you didn't read far enough. you have to loop the chains together after you crochet as big as you want it.

I tried to make this according to the directions, got about 8 rows done and it doesn't look at all like this. I think the wrong directions are on here.
