Jennifer Dickerson
I am married to my best friend and am the mom of two beautiful children. I am also a crocheter and knitter with a background in fine art. Ever since I was a young child, I have had the need to make things. When I was in elementary school, I would make and sell handmade jewelry and was rarely seen without crayon or paintbrush in hand. Before discovering the joy of crocheting and knitting, I was an abstract painter and showed my work in galleries from time to time. I especially enjoy making things for children, those I know and those in need. It makes my heart sing to give my time and hand stitched things to children and babies who need the comfort and warmth of something handmade. I aim to design patterns that are both fun and easy to make with easy and clear instruction and bright joyful colors.
When not up to my elbows in yarn, I enjoy baking and running. I started my blog, Fiber Flux...Adventures In Stitching to celebrate all things stitchy by offering free crochet patterns, knitting patterns, and tutorials.
