Interesing. A vintage ombre pattern. Everything old is new again. I see how the squares are worked and I now if nothing else it will be time consuming. I even like the colors in the pattern but when you read the directions, the colors are different.

This is a really pretty blanket and for being a vintage piece I would dare to say that this piece was before its time. There are no directions on how to make the pillow but I know we can figure that out. Thanks for sharing this vintage pattern.

Hello Kay Naidoo, were you able to make this for your granddaughter's birthday? It's nice to see your finished afghan. Please share it with us here. For those who want to make this unique design, here is the link to the pattern http//www.antiquecrochetpatterns.com/ombree-robe.h == tml. I included the link here as some crocheters have a hard time finding the link to the pattern. At a glance, you won't imagine that this afghan is crocheted. It looks like an ordinary fabric made into a blanket. Happy crocheting!

I am going to make this for my grand daughter's birthday next year Kay Naidoo

I love this but I think I will shades of blue for mine. using dk blue for the border
