Instructions:

NOTES:
Shark Body is worked in one piece, then divided for Tail.

Shark Body/Tail, Chin, Dorsal Fin and Flippers can be worked from written instructions or by following the chart.
Additional smaller pieces - Chin, Dorsal Fin, Flippers and Eye - are worked separately.

The Chin is worked first, then joined when working the Body. The Dorsal Fin, Flippers and Eye are sewn to the Shark, following a diagram.

To change yarn color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete st. Proceed with new color. Do not fasten off old color until instructed. Drop color not in use to WS of piece and pick it up again when next needed.

Each box on a chart represents one st worked in the indicated color. When working from charts, read RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right.

Kids will like this Super Cute Shark Afghan. When finished, kids will like to have this as their blanket pretending to be in the ocean or sea with the sharks. This afghan is perfect as a gift for both little boy and little girl.

This is Great! My family loves Sharks and my Grand son will love receive this Super Cute Shark Afghan for Christmas. It should go quickly using the bulky yarns and will be so warm, just right for the cold winder nights here in Michigan. After reading the pattern this one will work out nicely. The pattern is well written and right here with the print tab what more do you need? A coupon for the yarn, Yea!! Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

This is really cute, and not only is it cute as an afghan, but it could also be used as a rug. It is a great decoration for a childs bedroom or play area. It would also be a cute mat in a library, daycare, or kindergarten classroom. Thanks for sharing!

Sharks are my favorite animal so I definitely need this in my life soon!
