Quilt-Inspired Throws is an excellent instructional book boasting five unique crochet patterns. Each throw is a work of art and truly has the feel of an heirloom quilt. If you are an avid crocheter that loves the look of quilts, this book is for you! These amazing throws surely would be a show stopping piece in your home and who wouldn’t love to cover up and keep warm on a cold winter’s night with a Quilt-Inspired Throw!
Each crochet afghan pattern has easy to read instructions and a wonderful assembly diagram to follow when it comes time to piece your new project together. Although these patterns are rated intermediate to experienced, with some practice and dedication this well-written crochet book could be used by a slightly less experienced crocheter. In the back of the book, there are several great tips about yarn standards, stitch techniques (including graphics) and much more.
This 48-page crochet pattern book is one of my new favorites and will have a well-deserved place in my crochet library. The Log Cabin Throw (pg. 28) that graces the cover immediately caught my eye and will be on the top of my to-do list. Another favorite is the Posey Throw (pg. 10), a fine choice for a little girls room. So, whether you love to crochet unique projects or like the idea of combining two of the most popular American craft traditions, Quilt-Inspired Throws is a perfect book for any crochet lover!
