Neutral Ripple Afghan
We are adding the pattern to your Afghan Patterns.

The beauty of this Neutral Ripple Afghan is that it will match any decor style no matter where you put it in your house. The soft creams and taupes of the yarns listed in the free crochet afghan pattern are soothing to the eye. The ripple effect of the stitching makes this crochet afghan interesting despite its understated color scheme. You could change up the colors if you want more of a statement piece, but we like the feeling of these neutral tones.

Has anyone found out what is wrong with rows 8 and 9? Here it is December 2018 and I am having a problem having enough stitches to complete row 10

Hi all. Since this is a Bernat pattern, I would suggest contacting their customer service if you have questions about the pattern. Or perhaps throw the question up on our AllFreeCrochet Community Facebook page to see if anyone has suggestions. Both of those avenues have worked for a couple previous patterns that had hiccups. Hope this helps! And happy holidays! - Jaji Hammer, AFCAP Editor

I need help! I love this pattern but did anyone else have a problem with rows 8 and 9 not coming out right in the number of stitches? I have gone over this several times and I cannot make it work. Is it just me?

Hi. Here is the original pattern from Bernat. Perhaps that will help. Let us know if it doesn't. -Krista, Editor http://www.yarnspirations.com/patterns/ripple-beige-afghan.html?id=184310

I love the colors used in this Neutral Ripple Afghan. The pattern is very well written and easy to follow. I like the tassel idea over the basic fringe look. I have saved this one and will be making it some day. With all the great ideas I have seen, my family will be loving Christmas. Crocheted items are the best gift. Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern.

I've just pinned this afghan to my collection. Color is so serene and unassuming if you can call it that. It's in chevron design and thanks goodness the pattern is just right on the front page. Thanks guys.

this is fun to do and passes the time not to mention the enjoyment of giving it to someone who needs it

Why does the picture of this afgan appear to have three colors, but the pattern states only two (MC/Camel & Contrast/Sable? I want mine to look like exactly as the picture and I am anxious about getting all the correct materials.
Nov 25, 2016
is there an answer to bettyann's question above?

Hi dbisch, If you look carefully at the image, you'll notice that there are some slight shadows throughout, which makes some of the darker rows appear to have multiple shades of brown within. This pattern uses two colors, as pictured, OR can be made up using ombre yarn as well, but that is not pictured. Hope that helps! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns
