  • Contrast E Persimmon (10610): 1 ball
  • Contrast F Off White (10514): 1 ball

Instructions

With Color 1, ch 4. Join with sl st to first ch to form ring.

Ch = Chain(s)
Dc = Double crochet
Hdc = Half double crochet
Rep = Repeat Rnd = Round
RS = Right side
Sc = Single crochet
Sl st = Slip stitch
Sp = Space

  1. 1st rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 11 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. 12 dc

  2. 2nd rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in first dc. 2 dc in each dc around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. 24 dc.

  3. 3rd rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in first dc. *1 dc in next dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * to last dc. 1 dc in last dc. Join E with sl st to top of ch 3. 36 dc

  4. 4th rnd: With E, ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in first dc. *1 dc in each of next 2 dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * to last 2 dc. 1 dc in each of last 2 dc. Join F with sl st to top of ch 3. 48 dc

  5. 5th rnd: With F, ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. 1 sc in each of next 2 dc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 dc. 1  dc in each of next 2 dc. (2 tr. Ch 3. 2 tr) in next dc (corner made). *1 dc in each of next 2 dc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 dc. 1 sc in each of next 3 dc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 dc. 1 dc in each of next 2  dc. (2 tr. Ch 3. 2 tr) in next dc. Rep from * twice more. 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 dc. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off

  6. Motif 1: Make 14 using A as Color 1.
    Motif 2: Make 14 using B as Color 1.
    Motif 3: Make 14 using C as Color 1.
    Motif 4: Make 14 using D as Color 1

  7. Finishing:
    Sew Motifs tog as shown in diagram.
    Edging: 1st rnd: With RS facing, join E with sl st to any corner. Ch 1. Work 1 rnd of sc evenly around edge of Blanket, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc.
    2nd rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). Work 1 dc in each sc around, working 3 dc in each corner sc. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. Fasten off.
