Really pretty and unique, too.

I love learning new stitches and this Crochet Star Stitch Tutorial is one of my new favorites. The video helped me understand how to do it and then the written pattern is easy to follow as well. There are so many things that can be made with the sturdy stitch and I'm thinking of making a red, white and blue afghan using it. Or even a nice green scarf, too many ideas. I do like the coin purse pattern using this stitch, and did save it. What will you make using the star stitch? Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet stitch tutorial.

My star pattern will not open. Can you share? Thank you

When I looked at this very pretty pattern, I thought, yeah I bet its easy! I was so wrong. It's one of the easiest pattern yet. I can not believe it turns out such a pretty design. I think I will have to make up something using an ombr type yarn.thank you

I have not crochet in quite awhile but have been wanting to start again. Do you think this would be a good pattern to start on or should I start from very beginning? Have you made anything with the star stitch? I think this star stitch is very pretty and cannot wait to use to make something.

Lovely pattern for a blanket, the tutorial was very well done and easy to follow. Good job!
