My grandmother quilted a bread spread like this for my parents for one of their anniversaries. I have wanted to see if there was crochet pattern like this for many years! I love the look of this and would really like to make one even if just for the hand-me-down to one of my sons!

I would have loved to receive this as a wedding gift! Oh my goodness this is just to die for beautiful! It would take me way too long to create this myself and I do not have the patience. I love the design so much though that I want to make a smaller version of this. This is just too wonderful to pass by! Could you imagine this as an overlay or on a throw pillow? I can!

It will probably take me a very long time to get all the pieces made and put together for this beautiful bedspread, but in the end what a wonder heirloom to past down to children and grandchildren.

I'd love to try it but I'm wondering how long it would take?! Any ideas? Has anyone made this?

I want to make this because it's so pretty, but I'm a little intimidated by all the lacework. Has anyone tried it?
