My grandmother quilted a bread spread like this for my parents for one of their anniversaries. I have wanted to see if there was crochet pattern like this for many years! I love the look of this and would really like to make one even if just for the hand-me-down to one of my sons!

I would have loved to receive this as a wedding gift! Oh my goodness this is just to die for beautiful! It would take me way too long to create this myself and I do not have the patience. I love the design so much though that I want to make a smaller version of this. This is just too wonderful to pass by! Could you imagine this as an overlay or on a throw pillow? I can!

It will probably take me a very long time to get all the pieces made and put together for this beautiful bedspread, but in the end what a wonder heirloom to past down to children and grandchildren.

I'd love to try it but I'm wondering how long it would take?! Any ideas? Has anyone made this?

Wow, this is really a masterpiece that will linger for years to come. It is intricate. For those who want to make this afghan, here is the link to the pattern http//www.freevintagecrochet.com/free-bedspread-pa == tterns/bernhard106/wedding-ring-bedspread-pattern. I'm also giving you a link to crochet abbreviations in case you might need them http//www.freevintagecrochet.com/free-bedspread-pa == tterns/bernhard106/wedding-ring-bedspread-pattern

I want to make this because it's so pretty, but I'm a little intimidated by all the lacework. Has anyone tried it?
