First of all I would like to thank Hawk for pointing out the error in the pattern. I have never done a graph pattern before but would like to make this blanket for a friend. She collects owls and her little one would love it. I do like lion brand patterns. I have done corner to corner before so this should not be too difficult. Thank you.

This owl designed baby blanket is another piece of conversation among moms who will see this in the christening or shower party. Baby will love this, too. I just hope that the big eyes will not scare the baby. But this is really so cute.

First of all I want to thank you for the free pattern for this Owl blanket. I started crocheting it this morning. I just want you to be aware that there is an error in the written instructions for this pattern. The instructions read Row 14, Row 15, Row 14, Row 15, Row 16, etc. At first you could just assume that the 2nd "Row 14 Row 15" should be Row 16 Row 17 but if you compare the written instructions with the graph you will notice the instructions do not match because of this error in the row numbering. I understand I will just have to "wing it" because I need to have this blanket completed by next weekend for a baby shower but if you could correct the instructions, it would be greatly appreciated. I am very excited about finding this pattern and thank you again for posting it. )

Hi Hawk, Thank you for bringing the error to our attention. We do not own this pattern so we cannot correct it, but it looks like others have commented on the blogger's site to try to get a resolution. If you check out the comments on repeatcrafterme, other readers have indicated that you should not repeat the second row 14 and 15. With fingers crossed I'm hoping I can make this cute Owl's Wisdom Crochet Baby Blanket. I have never had a corner to corner pattern work of me. I'm not sure why? The down loadable pattern is will written and is a step by step pattern. So I'm hoping it will work. My daughter is a Owl lover and I hope I can do this one for her. I down loaded the written pattern and will be trying this. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
