Kingfield Square

Kingfield Square
Kingfield Square

A Kingfield Square is an easy crochet afghan square that looks beautiful. Make a bunch for an afghan or a few for a placemat or pillow project. It’s not too often that you can find a crochet project that is so open-ended and customizable. This project is one of the few! With this project you can change the color of this gorgeous Kingfield square pattern or change how many squares you are willing to make for the pattern, which will dictate what you get to make with it. For example, if you want to stick with one square you get a nice table doily. If you were to make a few more, you could make a nice placemat. What you do with this pattern is totally up to you; you are your own crochet boss!

Yay! This is one of my favorite square patterns. I was crushed when the original page I found it on shut down. So glad to see it again!

Hi, Can the Kingfield Square pattern be used one large square in crocheting a baby blanket approximately 30 inches square? Jeanne

Sorry for the delayed response...I don't see why not, but you would have to add several repeats of Round 4. I would love to see a finished photo!
