- Stitch Nation by Debbie Stoller™ "Full O' Sheep™" 12 balls 2205 Little Lamb A; 3 balls 2605 Honeycomb B; 2 balls each 2550 Plummy C, 2630 Meadow D, 2510 Aquamarine E, 2705 Peony F; 1 ball each 2529 Mediterranean G and 2910 Poppy H.
- Hook: 5.5mm [US I-9]
Size: Throw is 45" by 52"
Gauge: Square = 6½". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
THROW:
Square
With first color, ch 4, slip st in first ch to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 7 (counts as tr and ch-3 space), [6 tr in ring, ch 3] 3 times, 5 tr in ring, slip st in 4th ch of ch-7.
Round 2: Slip st to next ch-3 space, *ch 5, ([yo twice, insert hook in to next st and draw up a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops] twice in next 6 tr, yo and draw through all loops on hook – CL made), ch 5, slip st in next ch-3 space; repeat from * 3 times more, slip st to first st to join. Fasten off.
Round 3: Join second color yarn with slip st in top of any CL,*working over ch-5 of Round 2, work (3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr) in next ch-3 space of Round 1, slip st in top of next CL; repeat from * 3 times more, slip st in first st to join. Fasten off.
Round 4: Join third color yarn in st in top of any CL, ch 4 (counts as tr), 5 tr in same st, *skip (3 tr, ch-1 space, 3 tr), work (6 tr, ch2, 6 tr) in corner ch-2 space, skip (3 tr, ch-1 space, 3 tr), work 6 tr in next slip st in top of CL; repeat from * twice more, skip (3 tr,ch-1 space, 3 tr), work (6 tr, ch 2, 6 tr) in corner ch-2 space, skip (3 tr, ch-1 space, 3 tr), slip st in 4th ch to join. Fasten off.
Round 5: JoinAin same place, ch 1, sc in next 5 tr, *dc in ch-1 space of Round 3, sc in next 6 tr, 3 sc in corner ch-2 space, sc in next 6 tr, dc in ch-1 space of Round 3, sc in next 6 tr; repeat from* twice more, 3 sc in corner ch-2 space, sc in next 6 tr, dc in ch-1 space of Round 3, slip st in first ch to join.
Round 6: Ch 3, dc in each st around, working (dc, tr, dc) in center sc at each corner, slip st in top of beginning ch. Fasten off.
ASSEMBLY
Make 6 Squares with D as first color, G as second color, F as third color, A as last color. Make 6 Squares with C as first color, A as second color, E as third color, A as last color. Make 6 Squares with F as first color, B as second color, D as third color, A as last color. Make 6 Squares with C as first color, A as second color, B as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with H as first color, A as second color, C as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with G as first color, B as second color, D as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with B as first color, E as second color, D as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with A as first color, H as second color, C as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with G as first color, A as second color, B as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with E as first color, A as second color, B as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with A as first color, B as second color, F as third color, A as last color. Make 4 Squares with D as first color, F as second color, C as third color, A as last color.
FINISHING
Arrange Squares following Assembly Diagram. With wrong sides together, slip st Squares together.
Border
Join A with slip st to corner, *skip 2 dc, 6 tr in next dc, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc; repeat from * evenly spaced around, slip st to first st to join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Gorgeous blanket. Great, unique color combination. This is a welcome blanket even in this coming fall as it will complement the colors of fall. This is in my list of projects to be done in the near future. Thanks for the free pattern which has been made available right on this page complete with diagrams.
