I can't enter the giveaway because it says my birthday is wrong. But it was right. I checked it before I send it.

I agree. This is perfect as a coverlet on a bed of an elderly aunt or friend. I can remember my grandma had this type of crochet bed covers as I was growing up. I want to make this for someone who is in their twilight years as a mother's day gift or birthday gift. This Dreamy Diamond Ghan really gives a vintage feel.

This lovely and simple pattern makes a really nice scarf too. Since I crochet non-stop I cannot afford expensive or exotic yarn, so I almost always use the super saver mid-weight yarns and they are perfect for a scarf pattern. I have also crocheted scarves with thinner cotton yarns in this pattern and they have made beautiful gifts.

Hi

I have tried to locate the edging pattern and can not find it. Please tell me who to get it.

I really want to make this but I am not sure what type of yarn would be best. The instructions do seem easy but - I can't get the foundation started

Okay (note to self) Why don't you try reading the pattern first, instead of hopping around like an excited little kid. Sorry, I did get a little excited - I can't wait to make this then tease my sister, who will of course steal it!

I can't wait to make this apghan. It is just what I've been looking for. Will let you know how it turns out. Thanks, Michele.
