Nothing's finer than being in Carolina in the morning! But if you can't get to Carolina, you might try waking up underneath this Charleston Garden Granny Square Afghan. The black background makes the pink roses pop, and the crochet afghan pattern is free!

The other comments are right. It would be nice to seeing a photo that shows the detail. To start with the flower first would be more helpful if there was a better photo. It will make a lovely afghan though and will a bit of color to your decor. Not a quick pattern, you would have to be patient making this afghan but in the end, once you have put all the squares together, it should be lovely.

I made up one square to see if I would like to make it and the answer was yes!! It's beautiful. I have a friend that lives in Charleston, SC, and this would make a great birthday present for her. And when I share the name with her she will be thrilled. Thank you for sharing.

It is too far away to see the floral pattern clearly. Can you bring a close-up of it???

Thanks for the pattern for this beautiful design. I wish there were a photo of a single square so I could decide better if I want to make this one.
