This throw looks so lovely and snuggly warm that I want to make about twice the size of the original pattern just because I love it so much, lol! The colors have such a lovely soft denim look too and I just want to snuggle up under it on the sofa on a really chilly wintry day while I crochet something while watching my favorite TV program.

Let's see , quick, check, easy, check, and pretty, check again. Those are the three requirements for me. I can make one up over the weekend. This will go into my Christmas box. That big box in the back of my closet where I put things that I make during the year. Come the holidays I just need to box and wrap. It's done and paid for.

I love patterns that use three colors held together whild crocheting. It gives a very attractive and unique effect to the finished product. This pattern has just added another one to my collection of such patterns. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-Afghans/Under-6-H == ours-Throw-from-Lion-Brand-Yarn.

Your stories are so inspiring kimmi8124, jomcbarnes and sugar mamao. I will make this when it's winter time to appreciate my work more. Probably give it as gift or for my use. Whatever. Six hours? well, I'm gonna try.

I made this throw for my boss and everyone was so jealous of it. They absolutely loved the color scheme I picked out for him and he was super excited since it has been such a cold, cold winter and he is a bachelor. Took more than 6 hours though, but well worth it.

I have done many, many of this pattern for gifts. 6 hrs? Not me. I like to make them for people who have been though a hardship in their life. They choose the 3 colors, and they are sooo appreciated. Some have even taken pictures to post on Facebook! It's a good feeling to cheer someone up with something so cozy. Now I have to make one for myself!

I have made 2 of these and it definitely took more than 6 hours! It is not hard to make but I guess it depends on how fast you are. I must not be that fast lol! The throw is really pretty!
