If you've been looking for a simple crochet project for spring, look no further than this Pink Petal Hexagon. Its cheerful colors and intricate details turn this six-sided shape into a beautiful blossom. The bright yellow center draws the eye. Plus, because each hexagon only takes four rounds, you can make one in a matter of minutes. Try this hexagon crochet pattern in several different pastels, and you'll have your own yarn flower garden. These flowers make wonderful decorations for Easter as well.

This is a quick and easy pattern to follow and complete. I am not sure why we ch 4 and then dc in the 3rd ch from hook. The 4th ch never gets used. I am guessing it is a typo and we are supposed to either ch 3 instead of 4 or begin working in the 4th ch from hook, not the 3rd?

Thank you for letting readers know about this issue. Because it's not a pattern owned by us, we cannot adjust it but if you'd like to let the designer know or ask about it, please comment on her project page that is linked above. Thanks, Krista, Editor

I'm just starting to learn and this project looks perfect. Next on my list!
