If you're looking for a swift crochet throw blanket, then stop right here. This Touch of Red Mile-a-Minute Throw works up fast because of the mile-a-minute technique. You will work this quick crochet project by making the panels and piecing them together. To make this 51 x 57-inch throw, you will crochet six panels that each have a colored border (in this case, red). Another benefit of the panel crochet projects is that you can alter the crochet afghan pattern to the size you desire. Add more or fewer panels and it will be a perfect fit for your needs.

I am beginning to appreciate the versatility of the mile a minute projects that I have been looking at. With this one the designer is marketing it as a touch of red and I understand the principal and as Delphine Bryant pointed out, it can be easily adjusted to suite your personal needs. Thanks for the free pattern.

A touch of red, blue, green or whatever your favorite color. This is the perfect pattern that can easily be modified to suite even the pickiest of people. What ever the favorite color use it as an accent or as the main color and apply a neutral. This will work up really quickly and is adjustable to the necessary size.
