I like how the circle turns into a square. The way these squares are joined leave a distinct pattern in the corners that adds more design element. The designer stated it took her a while to select the colors and I have to say, this turned out well. Thanks for sharing this premium free crochet pattern.

Great tip about the washi tape. I guess I never thought about that issue with the yarn over the finger. I agree with the designer of this juicy watermelon square. It is also a challenge for me to select colors. I love the end result of this design. I am saving the post for later use.

This Juicy Watermelon Squares is so refreshing to the eye although with that name I was expecting red watermelons. But nevertheless this project is beautiful, classy and with good taste. Very appropriate not only for summer but also the whole year through. Cheers!
