Instructions for the BLANKET

Special Stitch: 
Shell: (2 dcs, ch 2, 2 dcs) in space or stitch as indicated in instructions.

NOTE:
To increase or decrease 1 ripple pattern plus 2 shells, increase or decrease 22 chs.

 

  1. Row 1: With shocking pink, ch 149, dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 5 chs, *3 dcs in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 6 chs, skip 2 chs, Shell in next ch, skip 3 chs, Shell in next ch, skip 2 chs, 1 dc in each of next 6 chs, repeat from * across ending 1 dc in each of next 5 chs, 2 dcs in last ch, turn.
    Row 2: Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 6 dcs, *3 dcs in next ch, 1 dc in each of next 6 dcs, Shell in ch 2 space of each Shell, skip 3 dcs, 1 dc in each of next 6 dcs, repeat from * across ending 1 dc in each of last 7 stitches, turn.
    Row 3: Ch 3, dc dec in next 2 dcs, 1 dc in each of next 4 stitches, *3 dcs in next dc, 1 dc in each of next 6 dcs, Shell in ch 2 space of each Shell, skip 3 dcs, 1 dc in each of next 6 dcs, repeat from * across ending 1 dc in each of next 4 dcs, dc dec in next 2 dcs, dc in last stitch, turn.
    Row 4: Repeat Row 3, fasten off and turn.
    Row 5: Join petal pink with a slip stitch in first stitch, ch 2, continue with Row 3.


    COLOR SCHEME:
    Repeat Row 3 as follows changing color on every 5throw for a total of 72 rows:
    (4 rows each shocking pink, petal pink, white) 6 times.


    EDGING:                    
    With shocking pink work along right straight edge, (sc, ch 3, sc) in bottom side dc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in each dc across and fasten off.

    Work along left straight edge, (sc, ch 3, sc) in top side dc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in each dc across and fasten off.
