This Ombree Robe Afghan pattern was originally published in 1931, but it's still as beautiful and easy to make today as it was then. The crochet afghan pattern can be made with any worsted weight yarn.
Crochet Hook4 or 2 mm hook (steel)
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Interesing. A vintage ombre pattern. Everything old is new again. I see how the squares are worked and I now if nothing else it will be time consuming. I even like the colors in the pattern but when you read the directions, the colors are different.

This is a really pretty blanket and for being a vintage piece I would dare to say that this piece was before its time. There are no directions on how to make the pillow but I know we can figure that out. Thanks for sharing this vintage pattern.
