These Teeny Tiny Grannies are super adorable. There's something about mini versions of our favorite things that makes them all the more darling. Try this small granny square crochet pattern and you'll be able to make afghans for babies, children, or even yourself. These bitty granny squares have tons of potential when it comes to home decor, too. Check out this tutorial to see how simple it is to put a new, cute spin on an old favorite crochet project.

This pattern is a great one for using up leftover bits of yarn from other projects. They are small enough that you can use them for just about any type of project. The finished square is approximately 2.5 inches with worsted weight yarn and a 5mm hook, but you can use any yarn weight and hook size to make a variety of sizes.

Mini granny/Granny's Daughter squares are my favorite way to use up small amounts of yarn. An old friend taught me a trick that I still use I have a box I keep just for these little squares. When it's full, it's time to make an afghan!
