I never thought I would be able to make something like this, but thrilled I did! Gave it to my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Thank you for the free pattern!

The lattice crochet cable pattern calls for 12 skeins but it doesn't say how many ounces each skein is. Can anyone tell me how many ounces I need?

When I see cables in crochet patterns I really like that. I never learned how to knit well enough to complete anything of substance so I like to be able to make some things that resemble knit. This cable lattice pattern looks very involved but I am sure I can figure it out. Thanks for the free pattern.

Before I give this one a go, I know I will have to do a lot of research. There are so many special stitches here that I am not familiar with. There are only six rows of directions that repeat to the desired length so I should be able to master it in the end. I love the neutral color but I think I will go a shade darker.

I have the same question as several others here, but I do not see that anybody ever got an answer. The first row includes directions for a cable and lattice pattern. Are you supposed to be working BOTH panel types in each row? If this is the case, when you come to the second row, everything falls apart and doesn't make sense...i.e., working back post double crochets and front cross treble crochets over double crochets because there simple are not enough double crochets to work over (i.e., you end the first row with five double crochets)!!!! I have ripped this out multiple times and cannot get past the first row. Clarification would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I am trying to make this for someone for Christmas and I am still stuck on the first row. Any suggestions about this?

The materials required for the large size list 12 skeins of worsted weight yarn. How big (# of oz.) are the skeins I should purchase?

im confused on the first row? the to portion. Can someone explain?

Hi mobro, What part of the pattern are you having issues with, exactly? Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns

Oh how beautiful this Lattice Crochet Cable Pattern is. I'm sure I'll have to make more then one or there will be a fight after I pass on who will get it. The pattern is well written and I'll have to print it out so I don't have to keep on scrolling up for the stitch info. I hovered over the blue P above and it gives the print tab.. Other than that, it's great! Thank you for this free pattern.

This is another design that can be handed down from one generation to the next. Thanks that the pattern is right in front

A better-formatted version of this pattern is available on the Red Heart Website. Search for "Lattice Weave" on their pattern site for links to the PDF.

I think the Afghan is beautiful....problem is I can't get past the first row. The part where it says to repeat from one time and then repeat from to one time lost me. Do you dc the 28 again and then sc the next 40? Could someone make it a little clearer please? Thanks

did u ever get an answer to this. im stuck on first row.

Your Lattice Crochet Cable Pattern is beautiful. Are there any videos showing how to do the special stitches contained in this throw? Thank you for the pattern.
