Use up your scraps while creating the most beautiful but simple crochet afghan pattern. This Scrap of Beauty Afghan is one in a million. Though this afghan crochet pattern uses several different hues of purple, you can scrounge up your own scraps and see what you come up with. You may have several different shades of the same color or find a combination of complementary colors that will be unique enough to work with this style. You can even add some fun fringe on the ends of this blanket to make it even more special.

From the Blogger: "This Scrap of Beauty Afghan has much more than a scrap of beauty, it's full on gorgeous! The free quick crochet pattern is made with a size I crochet hook."

Oh my I love this beautiful Purple Scrap of Beauty Afghan! After reading the written pattern, it sounds easy enough to make and the stitch pattern is so nice looking with the different colors of purple. Royal is the word that comes to mind when looking at this one. I've saved this one and will be making it. It kinda reminds me of the basket weave stitch but with a twist. So sweet. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Can you tell me what yarn and colors you used? It's beautiful

I clicked on the download for the pattern, but it came up "cannot find server" for this. HELP!!!!!! this is that pattern I have looking for!

I sometimes have the same problem but find that if I right click the mouse the 'print' button is there and it prints the page easily. Hope this works for you.

This is absolutely gorgeous!
