Beach Stripe Surf Blanket

Think beachy umbrellas and sand between your toes and you'll be ready to make the Beach Stripe Surf Blanket. With multiple vibrant colored crochet stripes, this crocheted afghan looks very much like a beach blanket. Once you get used to the basic woven stitch, this crochet afghan is a breeze since each crochet stripe is the same stitch repeated over and over. This free crochet pattern is ideal for beginners wanting to experiment with more than one color in an afghan.

I love the cheery colors in this blanket and it's no wonder...it's sort of random! To be fair she does have some color rules which I find delightful....random but rules! This could possibly be a stash buster of course depending on what you have on hand. This also makes up into a nice size blanket! Thanks for the pattern!

This is so lovely. I really love blankets in vibrant colors. I think this will be my next project after this blanket I'm making. Here's the link to the pattern http//cozymadethings.blogspot.com/2012/06/beach-st == ripe-surf-blanket.html

Absolutely LOVE this pattern. The fabric it makes is light, yet, not holey. I am enjoying playing with color and will make another when done with my current one.
