What do you mean by the term "shell"?

I am loving all the shades of green in this pattern. It's my favourite colour, so I think I'm going to have to put this one on my list to do! I think it would also look nice if you were to throw in a brown somewhere. It's a very earthy afghan, perfect for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and nature!
