So my nephew who is almost thirty now was a real Harry Potter fan. It has been a while since the last movie and I cannot recall us even talking about Hogwarts but I know he would cherish this blanket because I know I have seen his collection on the shelf in his home. This is the ultimate gift!

OMG! If I did not see the directions myself I would have sworn that this was a photo blanket. I can not get over the detail. I would like to consider myself advance but I think this afghan has a skill level all its own. Kudos to the designer.

i really want a challenge and am thinking about this seriously but wondered if you change each color or if you somehow carry them throughout and how that works if you are only doing one stitch of one color then switching to another. for example....chain one in black and then ch 2 in grey and 3 in white then two in black ect....

the link to the pattern wont open (oh NOOOOO)

I must try this... but wonder if it would work out the same in knitting... I'm not much of a crocheter
