I used to have a very quick easy mile-a-minute pattern, but lost it. I'm hoping I can replace it with this pattern, but it doesn't start out the same. The one I had started with chaining a circle, double crocheting in the circle to make a shell, making a chain, turn make another shell. Unfortunately I don't remember how many to chain or how many dc to make the shell. Can anyone help?

Look up Claire Sullivan on youtube. She demos the exact pattern you are talking about. If that doesn't work, I can give you a copy of mine.

Is there a video of this pattern?

HI there, No, there isn't a video of this pattern, at least not on AFCAP as it isn't our pattern. Yarnspirations is graciously allowing us to share, and we typically only make patterns for our own patterns, ones we own. You can see if Yarnspirations, the authors of this pattern, have anything that could help! Julia, AFCAP editor

You had me at worlds fastest. This mile a minute is a very pretty and made with only twelve panels. I like the color but will not go with my home decor so I think I will change the brown to yellow and the green will remain. I love the added tassels.

Yet again another mile a minute afghan to add to my ever growing list of patterns. With only a single page of directions and no pictures, it will probably never rise to the top of the list but you never know.

I am confused, are all shells 5 dc or 6dc??????

Depends on the pattern, or what look you're going for.

I have never done the mile a minute afghan pattern and would like to do one. I do have a question though, Where is the link for the pattern pictured? I clicked on all the links above and don't see the pattern but a lot of other patterns. Please let me know. The World's Fastest Crochet Afghan Pattern is beautiful and would make a great one to have in my home. Thanks,

Hi Cheryl! Our apologies, the video was blocking the pattern. It is now visible again. Thanks for bringing that to our attention! -Krista, Editor

I am a throw addict! There, I have finally said it, lol. Seriously, though, can you really look at this design and not want to make it? For our color scheme the colors need a very slight change but, besides that minor alteration, this pattern is so appealing and very unusual too that I feel I must begin making it NOW! Our Southern Hemisphere summer is slowly coming to an end and this throw is going to add a lovely warmth to our family room in the coming months.

I made 2 of these blankets already for gifts. The first I took the weekend and just crocheted away. I made it (inner color out) with red, grey and black without the tassles. My grandson loves it! The other took me longer as I just worked on it when I got the chance. That one I did in a pale lavender, purple and orchid with tassles. Came out gorgeous! This afghan is so simple! Thank you. Have yarn for the next 5 afghans already purchased!

I've just pinned this afghan for future reference...definitely in my queue. So the colors involved here are peach, green and aran. It helps a lot that the pattern is just right in front of the page. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! I want to make one! #BestIdeaEver

Nice, made one years ago and gave as a gift.

If I use the print button, will it print just the pattern?? Or everything on the page, including all the ads, comments, etc?

Thought I was going to try another fast pattern and end up with a lot of hat yarn. WOW! I started on my vacation and finished within two weeks after returning to work. Everyone loves the colors and the pattern! Even my sister! Thank You!

is there a way to print or download this pattern? i really want to do this for my sister

I will rate this afghan when i make it. I am anxious to get started.
