What is Mile a Minute?

Mile a minute crochet is really just a fun and cute new for simple, repetitive projects. Often associated with larger projects, like crochet blankets, mile a minute projects imply that the pattern is so easy to work that you go at a speed of a mile a minute with your work.

These types of projects are usually made of simple crochet stitches, very basic patterns or both. Mile a minute crochet projects are perfect to work on while watching your favorite movie or television show, and are great for last minute gifts for someone.

I have just finished making one and although I love the result it isnt as fast made as the pattern suggests it does The strips are really mile a minute but then the edges around each strip, sewing the strips together and an edge around the whole blanket is really a lot of work. Having said all that, well with the effort just not making another one.

I have tried to make this pattern several times and cannot for the life of me get it. I have read the pattern over and over, but I still do not understand it. Is there clarification or a short video available?

Which part dont you get? Maybe I can help!

Directions should be better. a little confusing. If has never done one before. I do not recommend this pattern for a beginner, Could've been written better for sure.

How darling! I can see this as a Christmas gift, birthday gift, house warming gift or birthday gift and best of all I can see myself completing one! I really like how I can change out the colors and customize it for myself or others. It's just as adaptable when it comes to size!
