Lacy Shell Afghan

By: purplekittyyarns.com

This Lacy Shell Afghan is light, lovely, and lusciously soft. It features a beautiful scalloped edge, adding to the feminine grace of this afghan. Use several shades of blue to make this lacy crochet afghan pattern resemble the ocean tide. This is a great throw to bring with you to the beach house. This fun and flirty afghan will keep you feeling cozy and looking cute in the face of those cool summer breezes. It's also a quick way to dress up your sofa.

Wow this is so beautiful. They look like fans when fully finished. Looks very regal.

The designer forgot to count the ch 3 at the beginning of row 5 as a stitch, even though it is defined as one in the pattern. The count is off from there on. These are the counts I got when I made it Row 5 has 23 dc in all. Row 6 has 25 dc. Row 7 has 15 dc and 14 ch-1 sps. Row 8 has 37 dc. Row 9 has 12 popcorn, and only 1 dc at the end of the row. Row 10 has 55 dc.

Thanks for pointing this out -- very helpful because I think the afghan is beautiful but I'd be very frustrated if I couldn't figure it out!

i have worked and re-worked on these motifs, the total count that is given in each row is never correct. Example Row 8, Row 10.
