Beautiful. This vintage pattern works up really well when more than one color is used. If I counted it correctly, it appears the multi colored design used a total of four colors, but I guess the number of colors could ultimately be twelve as there are twelve rounds. I guess that would be pushing it.

Each time I find a twelve inch granny square, I really get excited. I think they are the best! This design for the vintage crumpets and tea crochet square is very pretty and it can easily fit into my decor that is no where near vintage. I like the design in a single color but I am also liking the design in multiple colors.
