Dutch Rose Blanket

Dutch Rose Blanket
Dutch Rose Blanket

"The Dutch Rose Blanket came about when I had a goal to make the coziest blanket ever. First, the rose hexagon motif - ultra cosy in Scheepjes Stone Washed, and then of course, a granny stripe hexagon motif had to join in, for ultra coze factor. The striped corner adds an unexpected element of fun, and the rose petal edging just creates that perfect finish. Due to popular demand, I turned this project into a crochet-along, so it was made in many different color palettes, and looked beautiful every time. Enjoy it in your favorite cozy colors!"

Link broken, does not take you to the pattern. Amazing work! Would be an heirloom gift.

Loooove the floral hexagon motif. There's something so traditional and so modern about this pattern all at the same time. My high-culture sister would be obsessed. I smell her next birthday present!

Wow! This is beautiful! This is really special. I wonder what this would look like in really vibrant colors instead of the warm earthy tones? I kind of like it bright and funky but I always have trouble switching colors when the project has so many in the design. I guess sometimes it is not wise to mess with a project but just go with the flow. This is a beautiful piece.

What a cool and unique blanket. With all of the design elements going on here, it is really hard to believe that this is an easy skill project. I think this Dutch Rose Blanket will be a family favorite in no time. I would say this would get a lot of attention and conversation if nothing else.
