This can be a standalone decor in the house. It's so cute. It's a beautiful decor in itself.

What says winter better than a snowman? Well, where I live we will get a few flurries during the winter months. It is seldom enough to make a snowman so having this snowman afghan can be the next best thing.

My sister is a collector and her holiday collection includes snowmen. If my memory serves me correctly, at this time she does not have an afghan with the cold figure applied to it. Guess what? She will have one at the end of this year. I just found my Christmas gift for my sister.

I really would like to make this cute afghan, but I can't find the chart on the submitters site, just the instructions to make the squares. please can someone help me.

Hi sweetrose, Is this what you're looking for: http://www.momsloveofcrochet.com/sitebuilder/images/Snowman_Afghan_2-481x646.jpg? The image is a broken image on the blogger's site, which is why you might have missed it. I simply right clicked on the broken/missing image and clicked "Open Image in New Tab". I hope that helps! Hallo, I like your patterns very much. But there is a Problem. At first, my Eyes are not so good any more. And my English often is not good enough to understand everything in the patterns. When I look for words in my Translation book, the sense often is not the same. It would be a good help for me, if the pictures of the Patterns would be big and good to see. May be, other people have such a problem, too? I send you a lot of regards from Germany Ruth

I love that snowman pattern, printed instructions, however, not able to print chart which is really needed to do this afghan. want to make it for my daughters birthday, but do not see how I can make it without the chart. Any ideas? Please help. Thanks, Christel Stein

Why is it so hard to save her patterns to file? I have been trying for so long, two years, that I have now given up. She is deleted from my computer. A shame too as she does have some nice things.

Just an FYI-there are no instructions for making the short border. They are only reference in the instructions for the long border but nothing on how to actually do them. I know I can just wing it but it would have been much easier if the instructions were complete

I have made 4 of these so far for gifts this year for the daycare kids I take care of....I made the blue for a boy but changed the blue to purple with a pink/yellow hat and a pink background with purple/yellow hat....I made it as a whole afghan and didn't do the sides or top/bottom separate....came out cute

i LUV this afghan, but.... How would it look if u used redheart light/lofty white for snowman and the fun fur for snowflakes and finsh the rest in other bulky wt yarn? I'm going to try it....probably be big enuf to fit bed when I'm thru... I'll let u know.
