Can someone clarify, is the first row sc or dc? Pattern says... Ch 166. Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch across165 dc. Turn.

Can anyone tell me what the size is for this afghan please?

Hi Toni, The blogger has not provided exact size measurements on their blog, but the afghan as written is 166 stitches across and 212 rows long, plus some extra length for fringe, should you want to add it. Thanks! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns

The name of this afghan just makes me want to make this Cobblestones Afghan. After reading the pattern then the other comments below, I can't wait to make this afghan. I love the puff stitch and this looks so easy to do. Thank you stradley2425 for your change to the pattern, I'll be taking your advice on the stitch count and go from there.. Thank you for this free pattern..

I am about 2/10 finished with making this afghan. It is turning out beautifully. I changed the pattern so that the puffs and sc comes out evenly. I chained 159 stitches instead of 166. This gave me 11 groups of 10 puffs sts with 4 sc stitches between each group and 4 sc at beg and end of row. From here I am following the pattern as stated.

I am attempting to crochet this patter but the pattern doesn't fit the number of stitches suggested. If there is to be 165 stitches for crocheting row 5 there will be more than 7 groups of 10 puffs with 4 sc between each group and 4 sc at beg and end of row. This equal 70 for puffs and 32 sc =10 3 stitches When I crocheted the full 165 stitches I had 7 stitches left over with 12 puffs of 10 and 48 sc stitches' for a total of 158.. What in the world am I doing wrong? Could there be a mistake in the pattern? Has anyone else crocheted this particular pattern? Did anyone have problems?

I can't get the pattern to work out right either. I've tried every possible number of puff stitches and sc stitches there are and end up with too many stitches or not enough--have you figured it out yet?

This is lovely and quite easy. Definitely going on my list of to-do crochet projects.

It's beauitful I'm gonna try and make it. Thank you.

I like the looks of this afghan but I would like to be able to print the instructions on how to make it.

I have the same issue/request that shirleyhodges stated. All my download atttempts fail. Please help too.

Hi tbullock 6485329, We cannot offer the option to print this pattern on our site because we do not own it. If you visit the pattern link above, you can copy and paste the pattern into a Word document and print it that way. I hope that helps!
