The 60s Mod Throw

Materials:

  • Lily ® Sugar'n Cream ® (2.5 oz/70.9 g; 120 yds/109 m) Contrast A: White (00001) - 5 balls; Contrast B: Robin’s Egg (01215) - 5 balls; Contrast C: Tangerine (01699) - 5 balls; Contrast D: Hot Green (01712) - 5 balls
  • Hook: Size U.S. H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

Size: Approx 56" [142 cm] square

Gauge: 13 sc and 14 rows = 4" [10 cm]

 

Instructions: 
With A, ch 8. Join with sl st to forma ring.

1st rnd: Ch 1. Work 12 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.

2nd rnd: *Sl st in next sc. Ch 4.1 tr in each of next 2 sc. Ch 4. Repfrom * 3 times more. Join with sl st to same sp as first sl st. Fasten off.

3rd rnd: Join B with sl st to top oflast ch 4 worked in previous rnd.*Ch 4. 1 tr in each of next 2 ch. Sl stin top of next ch 4 of previous rnd. Ch 4. 1 tr in each of next 2 tr. Ch 4. Sl st in top of next ch 4 of previous rnd. Rep from * 3 times more. Fasten off.

4th rnd: Join C with sl st to top of last ch 4 worked in previous rnd.*Ch 4. 1 tr in each of next 2 ch. Sl st in top of next ch 4 of previous rnd. Ch 4. 1 tr in each of next 2 tr. Sl st in top of next ch 4 of previous rnd. Ch 4. 1 tr in each of next 2 tr. Ch 4. Sl st in top of next ch 4 of previous rnd. Rep from * 3 times more. Fasten off.

5th rnd: Join D with sl st to top of last ch 4 worked in previous rnd.*Ch 4. 1 tr in each of next 2 ch. Sl st in top of next ch 4 of previous rnd. (Ch 4. 1 tr in each of next 2 tr.
