Instructions for SQUARE MOTIF:

Make 15 in Pat C, and 14 each in Pat A, B, D and E.

With Color 1, ch 4. Join with sl st to form ring.

  1. 1st rnd: Ch 5 (counts as dc and ch-2). (1 dc. Ch 2) in ring 7 times. Join Color 2 with sl st to 3rd ch of ch-5. Break Color 1.
    2nd rnd: With Color 2, ch 7 (counts as dc and ch 4). (Yoh and draw up a loop in 4th ch from hook. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook – double cluster made. * 1 dc in next dc. Ch 4. Double cluster in 4th ch from hook. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of ch 7.
    3rd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as sl st. Ch 3. Miss first double cluster. * [( Yoh and draw up a loop. Yoh and draw through two loops on hook) 3 times.
